well, i don't know how many times have i been typing that life is vulnerable.
growing up isn't fun. life isn't a bed of roses either. i think god has been constantly reminding us that life is vulnerable. people come and people go. and the earth is just a transit for us people as once you leave this transit area, life still goes on for others. how cruel reality is. but that's how life works, isn't it?
one of my close relative who was diagnosed with liver cancer(last stage) 2 years back was doing great with the new improvement of drugs. i just saw her a few months back and she looked as healthy as ever. illness under control. was happy that she still look as radiant as ever.
yesterday, we were informed that she wasn't doing great now and it might happen anytime. we went down to visit and i was shocked to see her, someone i've known since young was already so fragile, tummy bloated with yellow skin. she was in pain and could not talk nor open her eyes. and she's surviving through the oxygen tank. my uncle told us that she didn't want anyone to know that her condition deteriorate and she just got discharged recently only. i hope my cousins would really take care and now that they're in the army, it will be difficult for them to be fully by their parent's side. i just hope that she'll be able to complete her transition on earth smoothly.. i think i'm getting numb on seeing such things. the constant reminder to be living within our means, doing the utmost of what we can has always been on my mind. that is, if god intends to bring me back to where i belong anytime, i would be able to smile, and leave with him without any regrets.
to satisfy my cravings (since 2006) and to make myself feel better for being sucha nice person (in counselling/listening/giving advices to that few particular peeps), i've decided to give myself (and my family) a treat! =D
this show is co-written by Adam Sandler who also acted in this show, a pretty entertaining show (as always by Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider) with the (sad truth of the) current lifestyles of the kids and adults are having in our current society. it's definitely a good recommended show by friends~
river valley is one area that angela and me are exploring and this time, it is our first encounter with cold noodles and hot dipping sauce which is superb. the best is the pork seafood tsukemen no. 44! the gyoza serve was pretty good too~ a different kind of ramen, wanna go back there soon!
